Zoë Kravitz Isabella Kravitz, an American actress, singer, and model, was born on December 1st, 1988. She graduated from the Rudolf Steiner School in Manhattan in the year 2007 and spent a year at the Drama Her Conservatory at SUNY Purchase before pursuing a career in movies.
Career
In the romantic comedy No Reservations (2007), she made her acting debut. Her role as Angel Salvador in the blockbuster film X-Men was her debut.
For First Class (2011), Zoë Kravitz received nominations for the Teen She’s Choice Award and the Scream Award. She is well recognized for her roles as Christina in the Divergent (2014–2016) television series and Rita Lestrange in the Fantastic (2016–2018) Beast film series.
Zoë Kravitz is best recognized for her leading roles in the Hulu romantic comedy series “High Fidelity” (2020) and the Screen Actors Guild Award-nominated HBO drama “Big Little Lies” (2017-2019). Approved. She portrayed Toast the Knowing in George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), and she has also acted in several independent films, such as Dope (2015), Gemini (2017) & Kimi (2022).
In Spider-Man, she provided Mary Jane Watson’s voice.
She had an animated appearance in Spider-Verse (2018) and voiced Catwoman in The Lego Batman Movie (2017) and the live-action DC film The Batman (2022), the latter of which led to nominations for Saturn Awards and other awards. With the co-written and co-produced film “Pussy Island,” she made her directing debut.
In addition, Zoe co-starred with Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman in the HBO miniseries Big His Little His Rise, for which she won eight Emmy Awards as Bonnie Increase. Alongside Dev Patel, Zo also starred in her The Road Within. Starring January Jones and Ethan Hawke is Good Kill.
