Sophia Taylor Ramsey Ali is a well-known American actress. She is best recognized for her roles in the MTV romantic comedy series Faking It and the ABC dramas Grey’s Anatomy and The Wilds.

She is an American-Pakistani. Her birthplace is San Diego, California, although her family is from Dubai. She flew to Dubai with her mother when she was 10 days old. She stayed there until the age of four when her family relocated to Texas. Ali traveled to California when she was 19 to seek a career as an actor.

Many of Sophia Ali’s family members are Muslims, but her parents did not “force” her to join any religion. Ali used to be a dancer until she was 16 years old, and her hobbies include watercolor painting and furniture painting. She has numerous tattoos. 

Career

She made her television debut in 2003 with her show K Street. Ali has appeared in several TV episodes and films, including Faking It, Shake It Up, and CSI.

She is well-known for her connections to Miami, missionaries, and love.

Ali had a recurring role as Dr. Dahlia Qadri in the ABC drama series Grey’s Anatomy in 2017. Ali appeared as Penelope in Blumhouse’s eerie film Truth or Dare in 2018. Ali portrayed Chloe Fraser in the Uncharted film in 2022. The film received mixed reviews, with many applauding Ali’s performance.
